Abstract: |
This invention relates to a buffer-storing method based on EMS memory devices of target devices in the Ethernet storage region network characterizing that it takes large volume quick devices composed of rich DARM memory resource on the IP SAN system target device as the buffer stored resource to divide the disk space of the IP SAN system to same size of mapping grains and buffer-stores the hotspot grain of the disk space automatically, it considers that once a grain is accessed, it is the hotspot grain to be kept till it is replaced out of the buffer storing device since it is not accessed for a long time, which can fully utilize the CPU and DRAM memory resources on the IP SAN system target device to reduce I/O delay and lighten the I/O load on the storing disk so as to increase the entire performance. |
