Abstract:
A blood vessel scaffold is prepared from a mixture of polyurethane (PU) and polyhydroxy aliphatic ester (PHA), and is composed of multi-porous tunica intima, solid adventitia and reinforcing ribs. Its advantages are high biocompatibility, anticoagulation and cell adhesion, proper degradation speed, and improved mechanical strength and stitch strength.
