Abstract:
A single-fibre bidirectional optical split-insertion multiplex module is composed of two optical fibres, two circulators and the OADM module for dual-fibre bidirectional ring network. The output of two circulators are respectively connected with said OADM module. Said optical split-insertion multiplex moduel support 8 wavelengths unidirectionally transmitted over each optical fibre. The interval between wavelengthes is 200 GHz. Each wavelength has the highest speed of 10 Gbit/s. Its advantages include flexible configuration, supporting OADM dynamic routing of next generation and simple structure.
