Abstract：
 A polyurethane material as optical orientating layer of LCD is prepared through synthesizing 4,4'-dihydroxy chalcone, synthesizing polyurethane, dissolving polyurethane in solvent, coating it on the surface of substrate to form polymer film, and ultraviolet radiating the polymer film to generate cross-linking reacting of chalcone radical. Said synthesized photosenstive polymer has predefined molecular structure and uniform orientated arrangement of liquid crystal molecule.
