Abstract:
This invention relates to a flexible graphite fuel battery bipolar plate and its preparing method characterizing that the bipolar plate is made of graphite corals which are mixed with small amount of additives by immersion and direct adding methods or by a direct coating method to form films on the surface of the bipolar plate. The preparing method is to add the graphite corals into the mold to make the bipolar plate directly or in steps by die pressing or rolling methods with the formation pressure of 30-100Mpa. The density of this inverted bipolar plate is 1.2-1.7g/cu cm, thickness is 1.0-3.0mm. Its tensile strength by direct formation is 6-15Mpa and that by immersion process is 8-20Mpa.
